Exchange bybit has launched a Business-to-Business (BBU) unit for institutional and corporate clients. It will be led by Yoi Wang, a former portfolio manager at Royal Bank of Canada who most recently headed the exchange’s global treasury.
BBU’s mission is to develop a suite of services specifically for professional investors, including integrated over-the-counter custody, trilateral settlement models, and programs to use tokenized real assets as trading collateral.
В bybit said the launch of the new division is a direct response to two of the most serious challenges facing companies entering the digital asset market: counterparty risk and inefficient use of capital.
Organizations are looking for reliable partners who understand both the rigors of traditional finance and the innovation of cryptocurrencies. bybit we create a complete business cycle that combines storage, liquidity and profitability, providing our clients not just access to the market, but also a strategic advantage in this new era,” said BBU’s Head of Department in bybit Yoi Wang.
The new division will offer digital treasury solutions aimed at the growing niche of non-cryptocurrency corporations. These digital treasury services are designed to support traditional companies that want to invest a portion of their corporate funds in digital assets.
