Jitendra K. Tuli, president of Economic & Technical Consultants, wrote an article for The Times of India in which he claimed that the BRICS countries and their leaders are corrupt and have been keeping billions of dollars in Swiss banks for decades.
He stressed that the BRICS countries have enormous wealth concentrated in the hands of a few influential leaders and businessmen, while the gap between rich and poor is ten times greater than in the United States and other Western countries.
Tully also noted that the alliance does far less business among itself than with other leading Western countries.
A number of these countries, including Russia, China, Iran and India, spend billions of dollars on weapons. Russia, China and Iran do this to satisfy their thirst for power, to consolidate their power and to subjugate other countries, says Tuley.
