The new contracts will include both standard and micro options on SOL futures and XRP CME announced the addition of new trading options with expiration dates available daily, monthly, and quarterly. CME Group’s global head of cryptocurrency products, Giovanni Viccioso, said the planned launch follows «significant growth and increased liquidity» in futures on Solana и XRP on the exchange.

Since its debut in March, more than 540,000 futures contracts have been traded on the CME. Solana and more than 370,000 contracts on XRPBoth products reached records in August: daily notional futures volume Solana amounted to approximately $437 million, and XRP — almost $385 million.
