Binance has appointed co-founder Yi He as its new co-CEO. She will now serve in a leadership role alongside current CEO Richard Teng.

Yi He is a cryptocurrency advocate who founded a cryptocurrency exchange in 2017. Binance together with Changpeng Zhao.
Richard Teng has been appointed CEO. Binance in late November 2023 after Zhao resigned and pleaded guilty to charges brought against him by the U.S. Department of Justice. Prior to this, Teng served as head of regional markets outside the U.S.
