According to Lee, эфириум is benefiting from the current market situation, citing the growing popularity of securities tokenization on Wall Street. According to RWA.xyz, Ethereum currently accounts for over 70% of the market value of tokenized real-world assets, including second-layer solutions and EVM-compatible platforms.
Tom Lee added that the leading altcoin’s price had remained within a range for five years but had recently begun to break out of it. He called this prolonged period of consolidation «a potential indicator of significant price movement» and explained his decision to transform BitMine into an ETH treasury.
This week, BitMine made several Ethereum purchases, although it has not yet officially confirmed these transactions. The exact amount of the investments has also not been disclosed.
