US President Donald Trump has emerged as one of the biggest Bitcoin-investors on Earth who have invested hundreds of millions of dollars in cryptocurrency.
Trump’s BTC holdings are not publicly disclosed, and he owns the coins indirectly through his company, Truth Social. In May 2025, the firm raised $2,3 billion in funding and spent $2 billion on Bitcoin purchases in July. Donald controls 41% of the company’s shares, meaning he owns approximately $910 million worth of BTC, as the digital asset has appreciated 11% since the deal.
Only six people have more Bitcoin investments than Trump:
- Satoshi Nakamoto, whose balance sheet contains coins worth $126,5 billion;
- Brothers Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, who own $8 billion worth of BTC;
- Michael Saylor, who owns coins worth $7,2 billion;
- Tim Draper, who bought $3,6 billion worth of bitcoins confiscated from the darknet marketplace Silk Road at auction;
- Investor Matthew Roszak, who has amassed over $1 billion in BTC.

In addition, the US president owns his own OFFICIAL TRUMP (TRUMP) memcoin and World Liberty Financial (WLFI) tokens, worth a total of approximately $2 billion, issued by World Liberty Financial, co-founded by Trump’s eldest son, Donald. Thus, the president owns digital assets worth at least $2,91 billion.
