On According to USDT Freeze Tracker from BlockSec, approximately $506 million of frozen assets are on the blockchain Tron and approximately $8,73 million in Ethereum.
Total for all time Tether blacklisted 4,163 unique addresses, freezing a total of $1,26 billion in USDT and permanently destroying more than half of that amount using the destroyBlackFunds function. Only 3,6% of these wallets were subsequently unblocked.
According to BlockSec analysis, $698 million of the frozen USDT was burned, reducing the total supply, while the rest remained locked indefinitely or were moved by law enforcement.
The main reasons for blacklisting include direct requests from agencies such as the FBI, Europol and local police, automatic blocking of wallets, sanctioned USA, as well as preventive investigations conducted by the unit Tether T3, a joint effort to combat financial crimes, Tron and TRM Labs.
